The facilities provided within Arainn Shuaineirt/The Sunart Centre are exceptional by any standard, and included in this light, airy and welcoming building is a suite of rooms dedicated to the provision of adult learning opportunities including evening classes as well as further and higher education, for the whole community.

Other provision runs on a private basis at Arainn Shuaineirt / The Sunart Centre e.g. Accordion classes on Thursday evenings; Yoga on Wednesday evenings.

Maria Townsend, the Learning Centre Manager for West Highland College UHI, is based in the centre and can offer guidance and support on adult learning opportunities in the local community. Maria is always keen to hear from learners as well as potential tutors and can contacted as detailed below. Information about what is on offer is also on display in the Ardnamurchan Library housed within The Sunart Centre.

If you are 16 or over and your income is less than £22,000 a year you can get up to £200 a year towards the costs of some of the courses at The Sunart Centre. A similar scheme is in operation to help meet the costs of degree level study, providing up to £500 a year towards the cost of study.
