YOUTH CLUB VOLUNTEERS

Our very popular Junior Youth Club and Activity Nights on Thursdays, which around 50 children aged 8-12 attend, really need more adult volunteers to help out, whether parents of children attending or others.

We appreciate that being in a new environment with 50 children may be a little intimidating at first, but we would not ask new helpers to do anything particularly demanding, just being present and helping sell sweets etc from the tuck shop will be a gentle introduction to get to know the kids, although anyone interested in board games, sports or any other activities you would be welcome to jump in at the deep end. Current staff and volunteers already provide a broad range of activities, but sometimes they can be a bit stretched and extra help just to look after the café would be a great help. Please let us know if you would be able & willing to help out – if we have enough volunteers we would hope to only ask once per school term, although anyone interested in volunteering more regularly would be very welcome.

For information on the above please contact Centre Manager Eoghan Carmichael on 01397 709228, email Eoghan.carmichael@highlifehighland.com
